"I didn’t get taken in to be checked, they left me at home with my baby/foetus"

A mother’s experience of Oxford University Hospitals Maternity Services in 2022:
I went to hospital bleeding at 15 weeks pregnant to be told I would have a “heavy period” type bleeding after fighting for a scan with the midwife nurses to find out I lost my baby.
To get home and spend 7 hours on the toilet birthing a foetus with fingers toes and eyes. The placenta got stuck, I lost so much blood for hours I passed out multiple times. I spent 3 hours on the phone waiting for paramedics as the hospital put it down as ‘not urgent’, for them to come and just check the placenta and leave.
I didn’t get taken in to be checked, they left me at home with my baby/foetus. No advice/ discussion on how to proceed with burying or “disposing” of it as they called it afterwards.
