A mother's experience of Oxford University Hospitals Maternity Services in 2021 and 2024:
I have given birth to both my sons there and the experience was dreadful for both. In 2021 I have a Emergency C section they failed my epidural. They failed the forceps the doctors fell down with them. Entire experience was a nightmare.
I had some issue going back there in 2024. I was dreading it and it was once more chaotic. This time I had a elective C section. Operation was fine, the aftercare was so bad I could cry thinking about it.
No one is helping you walk and staff is so rude. I know they understaffed but still. I could not walk, my son had poo all over him, I could not manage the pee bag and him. Staff came and was rude and made me feel so bad. They never came, they give no care, no food. Such a pity such a bad service twice.
